The hotel's location was absolutely perfect, next to a restaurant and the river below the village and about 5km away. Dined at Long John Silver's, it was at walking distance from the venue. The double room was generous-sized, included central heating and a sitting area. The bed was comfy, a walk-in shower worked well.
Nothing, all great.

The room was generously sized and comfy, with smoke detectors for my safety. Having a hairdryer, a walk-in shower, and towels was a nice bonus. The location of this place close to a pizza restaurant down the road and in deeply rural France was historically significant.

We had a fantastic stay at Ermitage Saint Vincent B&B. the proprietor was very kind and welcoming, and the free on-site parking was a plus. the room was spacious and classically decorated, perfect for our family of four. We loved the beautiful gardens and the view of the neighboring 12th-century church and the Allier river. Despite the heat wave, the room was comfortably cool thanks to the monastery's old walls. the beds were comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. Jean, our host, was a highlight of our stay, with his kindness, generosity, and humor. Cons: Hard to think of anything 😊.

During my recent travels, I had the opportunity to stay at Ermitage Saint Vincent B&B in Vieille-Brioude. Although I was only there for a short transit stay, I found two features of this property to be particularly commendable. the B&B is conveniently located just 61 km from the nearest airport, making it an ideal choice for those looking for a comfortable stopover. the B&B offers a peaceful and tranquil setting, allowing guests to relax and unwind amidst the beautiful surroundings.
As a result, I had to make a trip to Brioude town to withdraw sufficient cash to cover the cost of my three nights' stay.

I felt like a queen lounging on the terrace, enjoying the river view. Parking was a piece of cake. Free WiFi? Who needs it when you can disconnect in this remote village.
Ah, the joy of creaky floors and finicky locks. An adventure in every step and key turn.
